My head, drivers who can’t read, and another song find

The results of my brain scan are that there’s nothing wrong with my head but a slightly deviated septum (and I still don’t want a nose job) and some minor sinusitis relations that aren’t what they’d have to be to cause the headaches.  So at the end of the month I start physical therapy on my neck.  If that goes well, fabulous.  If not, we try a little medication.  If THAT doesn’t work then my 2010 will start with a spinal tap, which I can tell you I’m thoroughly not thrilled with.  But considering my history of neck problems I think we’re on the right road.

In more annoying news, I don’t know what has happened in this area, but apparently delivery people here can’t read.  First a UPS package is delivered to a house even they can’t identify (except that it wasn’t mine).  It took two months to get a refund for that one.  UPS was confused why I never responded to the notes they left me, to which I replied, “Umm…because I never got any?  Where did you go?”  Then USPS started delivering some of my mail to another street.  Today, FedEx delivered something to a house on the street BEHIND me.  A street with a totally different name, different letters and a different number of letters.  When I called the driver said, “well I delivered it to a house with a corridor leading to the door, which is set back into the house by the garage.”  To which I replied, “sounds like a great house, unfortunately it isn’t mine!”  Fortunately the house it did go to is owned by the sister of my friend across the street so I picked it up myself later.  Sheesh.

And my penchant lately of finding songs I’d never heard before that seem to perfectly sum up the various feelings I’ve had since mom died continues.  Love it.
